Mix & Match: In May, do what you like
Are you tired of following trends, not being able to wear your favorite pieces at the same time, and racking your brains every morning because you think that shirt doesn't match those pants?
No more outfit guidelines, goodbye to overly understated looks, and hello to a unique pattern. Today, we're telling you all about Mix & Match, or the art of combining different colors and patterns.
But be careful, mix & match doesn't mean looking like Harlequin and dressing up. Yes, yes, we can already hear you saying: "I'll finally be able to wear my green pants with my pink jacket and my purple t-shirt."
Although this outfit is very tempting and seems to meet the definition of mix & match, it might make our heads spin.
Don't panic! We're giving you the keys to managing this trend and allowing you to be even more spontaneous in your looks.
Follow the leader

1) The golden rule
If we tell you "too much information kills information." What do you say?
If someone tells you "too much pattern kills the pattern"? Do you get it?
As you can see, a good mix is made when there are not too many ingredients and they are measured at their right value.
This is why, choose two or three colors maximum, and two patterns or prints, for perfect matches.
We show you:
We mix the orange ZANIA ribbed knit top with the pink PARVEDY cotton pants for a colorful and vibrant look.
The GABY navy blue viscose pants and the MAIWEN purple overshirt.
Or, the ochre GINA pants, and the pink SHERINE top.

2) Play with colors, play with prints, and mix
The key word: DARE
Dare to shake up the codes you've always learned. Dare to change your reflexes when it comes to combining colors or patterns.
Why wouldn't checks go with polka dots? Who said stripes only go with solid colors?
No more rules imposed forever, hello originality.
The secret to making these combinations work perfectly: having a common thread. If you know where you want to take your outfit and what you expect to achieve, then you've won.
So we don't hesitate to combine stripes with patterns. The combination of the DORIA viscose shorts with Paloma print and the FLORA red cotton top demonstrates this perfectly.
Or even flowers with checks: the LISIANE liberty print top and the PARVEDY pink gingham pants for example.
3) Create contrast: with opposing colors and materials
For the less daring, we suggest you play with materials and their volume.
We dare to take a light printed skirt and add a thicker sweater in an expressive material.
Take the white MIKA sweater and the ELYETTE skirt with its blue tit print, and get an original and perfectly mastered outfit.
You can also play with multicolored pieces and match them with other colors. A colorful, close-fitting top, slightly looser but straight shorts, and a chunky knit will dress you perfectly.
For this, take the white KATHY shorts , the brick CATALINE jersey top , and the rainbow MANDI cardigan.
You will then get an outfit with character.
