French woman
Meet Renata

Can you introduce yourself?
My name is Renata, I'm Brazilian, from Rio de Janeiro. I've been living in France for 6 years.
I have a background in visual communication and fashion design. I started working in fashion in Brazil. I first worked for a lingerie brand, and then I joined FRNCH.
What is your role at FRNCH?
I'm a stylist and head designer. I create, invent, and design the FRNCH collections, working with the artistic director, Daryl.
How long have you worked at FRNCH?
3 years
What does FRNCH mean to you in three words?
Feminine, relaxed, and joyful
How would you describe your style?
I am a butterfly.
I like a little bit of everything, so I don't have a 100% defined style. I'm a pro-comforter, so I'm ready for anything!
Which piece best represents you?
Jeans with a colorful jacket. I love different jackets; for me, they're great pieces that change up an outfit by adding a touch of color.
What is your first fashion memory?
It was when my mother and grandmother made clothes for me when I was little.
Why work in fashion?
My mother is a stylist, she changed career when I was 7 years old. I really experienced her change of career because I followed her everywhere and I was immersed in her world. She gave me this taste for fashion and this desire to create clothes. I then started creating clothes for my friends.
The best advice you could have received?
Don't take life too seriously. Let's have fun!
The thing you can't live without in your daily life?
Move/walk. This allows me to take time to think and meditate.
Do you have a passion(s)?
Music, sports, and being in touch with nature in general. My pleasure: walking along the Seine.
Your favorite place?
By the sea. I feel good there and it allows me to recharge my batteries.
Your favorite book or podcast?
All books by Ken Follett.
Your favorite series?
Modern Family
Your favorite city?
Rio de Janeiro
A final word for the end?
My mission at FRNCH: to make women feel good in FRNCH clothing and become #femmeFRNCH.
